We apologise but we will be closed for lessons & hacks on Sat 31st July and Sun 1st August as one of our Livery Clients and Their Horse are competing at the Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead and we will be there to wish them lots of Good Luck !

One of the Groups Riding at Pony Club Camp 2009

New Pony Club Groups and Times:

SATURDAYS:
Intermediates 9.30am - 11.30am
Advanced 10.30am - 12.30pm
Novice 11.30am - 1.30pm
Beginners 12.30pm - 2.30pm

All groups will do 1 hour riding first and then 1 hour stable management.

The Intermediate and advanced groups MUST come at least half an hour before the ride start time to catch, groom and tack up. The yard will be open from 8.30am for Staff, advanced and intermediate Pony Club members only.

The Novice group may come half an hour early (11am) to help get any ponies which are not already tacked up, ready for their lesson.

Beginners must not come early without prior arrangement with Sue or Jeannette. There will not be enough direct supervision for the beginners, as we will have other lessons taking place at that time.

SUNDAYS:
Advanced Pony Club members will be on a rota to fill a slot of 1 private lesson for just 1 member each week on a Sunday at 2pm. The lesson may be of the pupils own choice of either Dressage, Show Jumping, Cross Country (when ground allows) and Carriage Driving. We do however need advance notice (preferably 1 week) of what type of lesson is required by each individual student.

These Sunday Pony Club lessons may be postponed because of competitions or extra group training and therefore will go back to the rota order the following free week. These private lessons for advanced pony club members are to address the need of pushing each student in their own individual chosen direction. If you have a dressage lesson one week you still get the choice of the next lesson - you are not tied into one discipline as this is each individual students time to establish where they want their riding to take them and to help fine tune each student in whatever they decide when they are ready. It is also time to develop skills they require in competition as competing starts to take place.
